Booking Terms & Conditions

    Booking Procedure and Payment Terms

  1. All bookings accepted by us are subject to these terms and conditions.


  2. You should complete the booking form and forward it with either a Sterling or US Dollar cheque made payable to Diane Dawson for £200 or US$350.   Alternatively, if you would prefer to transfer the money directly to our bank account, then please contact us for further details.


  3. Any provisional booking will be held for seven days pending receipt of the booking form and deposit in respect of the accommodation.  A booking will be considered firm when the deposit has been received and we have confirmed the booking via email.


  4. The full rent is due 8 weeks before the date you arrive at the home.  Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival are payable in full at the time of booking.  The booking deposit will become the refundable security deposit.  It will be returned within 2 weeks of vacating the property in good order.


  5. You may change your booking.  In which case we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
  6. Cancellation

  7. You may cancel the holiday booked at any time after it has been confirmed.  Cancellation must be in writing.


  8. We reserve the right to cancel the holiday if payment has not been received in accordance with the conditions above.


  9. The following cancellation charges will apply to all rentals cancelled in accordance with clauses 6 & 7 above.


  10. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE OUT HOLIDAY INSURANCE TO COVER UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH MAY NECESSITATE CANCELLATION OF YOUR HOLIDAY

    Accomodation

  11. The accommodation provided is only for the use of persons named on the booking form - subletting, sharing or assigning are prohibited.


  12. Unless otherwise agreed, the accomodation will be available to guests after 5 p.m. Florida time on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 a.m. Florida time on the day of departure.


  13. An adult must accompany persons under the age of 18.


  14. We will not be liable for any loss or injury resulting from the use of the property or pool.


  15. Swimming pools can be dangerous and ours is not to be used by children without adult supervision.
  16. Complaints

  17. In the unlikely event that you have any reason for complaint or dissatisfaction, you must contact our local Property Management Company immediately so that remedial action may be taken.   Their contact details are available in the home.
  18. Smoking

  19. For the comfort and safety of our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the home including the pool and patio area.  In the event that guests choose to ignore this condition of booking, they will forefit their security deposit.
  20. Animals and Pets

  21. Animals and Pets are NOT permitted in the home.  This condition is strictly enforced and guests will lose their security deposit.
